In 2001 Nicola was introduced to yoga and from her first class she knew it was what had been missing from her life.
Practicing regularly she soon began to see the benefits not just physically but emotional mentally and spiritually. Yoga had such a profound effect on her in 2004 Nicola gave up her business to go abroad and train as a yoga teacher.
She ran her own busy yoga studio in Hove for 12 years only recently selling up in order to focus on what she is most passionate about, teaching yoga.
Nicola has studied with many inspirational teachers around the world. However, since discovering Iyengar yoga the practice has given Nicola a deeper sense of connection and insight into her own practice. She draws on this to guide and encourage her students in her classes.
Nicola’s passion for yoga comes across in her teaching her classes are challenging and detailed focusing on alignment and precision.
For Nicola yoga has become a way of life helping her enjoy a more balanced lifestyle. It has also aided the healing of her injuries from her sporting days. Prior to yoga Nicola spent a lot of time visiting osteopaths and chiropractors to realign her body. Yoga has empowered her to take charge of her health. Nicola has a love of the outdoors and when she is not teaching or practicing yoga she is walking her dogs in nature.
